We drove from Reno to our next stay at KOA north of San Francisco at Pentaluma. This is a awesome KOA that has a climbing wall, petting zoo, pool, movies, jumping pillow, car train rides just to name a few things! The boys thoroughly enjoyed themselves here.
The next day we then went to Pentaluma Factory outlets were we bought lots of clothes. Mr V got quite a few new clothes. We then drove to San Francisco RV park, we arrived at 5, and they closed the door at 5. So we were still able to get a RV spot just not talk to anyone. All good… it was a ok park, it did have a pool, but we went over to target to buy new bags to put all our new clothes in to take home as we were leaving the next day. We did get to go over the golden gate bridge and saw some interesting houses.
This was our last night in the RV. Mum and Dad stayed up til late cleaning the RV.
Day 28. We went and picked up a hire car and dropped off our RV home of the past three weeks! We then went for a drive around Infinite Loop Drive at Cupertino, which is the home of apple. We then went over to NASA Ames research centre where we had a look around. Not as good as all the other NASA sites but this one was free to go into too.
Afterwards we went to the Computer Museum which had a detailed history on the computer.
Later on we then went to Magic Mountain Playground at Coyotee Park. This was a big playground and we had lots of fun.
We got to ride on the air train at San Francisco Airport.
Our journey has now come to an end as we are awaiting our flight back home. We were able to gain access into Air France/KLM lounge, thanks to have business tickets on our flights from Sydney to Brisbane. So that always makes being at the airport a bit nicer! The boys enjoy unlimited soft drinks and food on tap! Mr V especially likes their meatballs.
